For four generations, our partnered workshop has been passionately crafting sacred wooden sculptures.

Located in Val Gardena, Italy, a mountainous region where wood carving has been perpetuated since the 17th century.

Expert artists from the art schools of Ortisei and Selva Gardena sculpt the basic models: true works of art, always different and innovative.

These models are then cast in bronze to be reproduced later on a pantograph. Wood from the Alpine forests (in controlled reforestation areas) is most suitable for carving.

An expert artisan transforms the wood blocks into rough sculptures using a pantograph. These rough sculptures are then meticulously handcrafted down to the smallest details.
