For four generations, our partner workshop has been passionately manufacturing wood sculptures with a sacred character.

He is based in Italy, in Val Gardena, a mountainous region where wood sculpture has been perpetuated since the 17th century.

Expert artists from the Ortisei and Selva Gardena art schools sculpt the basic models: true works of art, always different and innovative.

These models are then cast in bronze in order to be subsequently reproduced on the pantograph. Wood from alpine forests (in areas of controlled reforestation) is most suitable for sculpture.

An expert craftsman transforms the wooden blocks into sculpture blanks on the pantograph. These sketches are then developed by hand down to the smallest detail.

The Virgin Our Lady is available in natural wood at 21cm, as well as in gilded wood at 13cm and in gilded wood at 21cm.
