Created following ethical values related to fair trade, this decoration is handmade using the traditional Indian embroidery technique known as 'zardosi.' It has been specially designed for Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.

The workshop that creates these small crosses specializes in crafting hanging decorations. Each decoration is meticulously handmade, and the time invested in crafting each one reflects their unique quality.

For over 30 years, the workshop has been collaborating with a small charity organization located in Thailand, which helps women find profitable activities within their rural community instead of leaving their families to work in the city.

Today, nearly 200 women work from home to assemble and sew these decorations. The workshop takes pride in being a member of BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Suppliers) and supports the 10 principles of fair trade as outlined by the World Fair Trade Organization.
