Notre-Dame de Paris Year 2019 Rosary

This traditional rosary made of white glass beads has been specially designed in an artisanal workshop for Notre-Dame.

The centerpiece of this magnificent rosary features the Holy Crown of Thorns, with the western facade of Notre-Dame Cathedral on the front side and "Our Lady," the Virgin of the Pillar, on the back side. The cross of this rosary is an original creation depicting the Notre Dame Cathedral at its center.

The Italian artisan, established near the city of Ferrara, creates unique and exclusive products for Notre-Dame. This business was founded by a couple who, after experiencing family and professional hardships, decided to fully surrender to God and turn to faith. Driven by an inner spiritual force, the couple began crafting rosaries. One thing was certain for them: their rosaries should not be mere objects but works of art! A beautiful rosary highlights the weight and beauty of each prayer. The Pope, during his official travels, offers rosaries made by this artisan!

The rosary is a prayer object resembling a necklace of beads composed of five series of ten beads, the decades. Each series is followed by a separate bead. A cross and five beads precede the centerpiece, which depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary, a saint, or a Christian symbol. These beads serve for the recitation of the "Hail Mary" prayer.

The recitation begins with the sign of the cross, followed by "I believe in God," "Our Father," three "Hail Mary," and "Glory Be."

It then involves the recitation of one "Our Father," ten "Hail Mary," and one "Glory Be."

The recitation of the decades is combined with contemplation of the joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous mysteries of Christ's life.
