Dedicated to Saint Marcel, bishop of Paris, it is among the chapels where Viollet-le-Duc, in the 19th century, deployed a particularly narrative and colorful iconography.

Arabesques, foliage scrolls, stars, and decorative borders form a luxuriant visual world, shaped by deep reds, intense blues, and vibrant greens, magnificently revealed during recent restoration work.
