Blue Cat's Eye Silver-plated Rosary
Beautiful silver-plated rosary with blue cat's eye beads. Exclusive to Notre-Dame de Paris.
This silver-plated rosary is crafted with blue cat's eye beads, which are semi-precious stones characterized by an optical effect known as chatoyance. This phenomenon creates a luminous band that traverses the surface of the stone, resembling the vertical pupil of a cat, hence the name "cat's eye."
The softness and shine of the beads evoke a sense of purity and serenity.
The beads of this rosary are finished with a simple and delicate cross.
At the center of this rosary, you will find the Virgin and Child, a faithful representation of the Virgin depicted in the West Rose Window of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.
On the back, the inscription reads "Notre-Dame de Paris."

Learn more about the artisan
This rosary has been carefully made in France by a small family-run business since 1844.
Initially specializing in art casting, they produced, among other things, statues of saints for parishes.
This artisan notably won a gold medal awarded by the Vatican for creating a bronze statue of Pope Leo XIII in 1888. After the war, they ventured into the production of rosaries (the craft of the paternoster maker). Today, this company is the last one to manufacture rosaries on French soil.
Learn more about the rosary
The rosary is a prayer object resembling a bead necklace composed of five sets of ten beads, called decades. Each set is followed by a larger space. A cross and five beads are situated before the centerpiece, which features the image of the Glorious Christ. These beads are used for reciting the "Hail Mary." The recitation of the decades is combined with the contemplation of the joyful, sorrowful, glorious, and luminous mysteries of Christ's life.
